Runaway league leaders City took all three points at the death after Rodri scored a stoppage-time winner, and a number of controversial decisions marred the game.

The enraged home crowd started a chant of ‘how much are they paying you?’ at the officials as the feeling of frustration mounted around the Emirates.
Close-up replays of the altercation appears to show playmaker Odegaard making contact with the foot of Ederson, which the keeper thrust out to steal the ball away.
But as the stopper came sliding out to narrow the angle, the Arsenal man tumbled to the turf, sparking those clad in red to loudly appeal for a penalty to be given.
Referee Stuart Attwell, however, judged Ederson to have played the ball, and VAR eventually agreed with the man in the middle.

To make matters worse for Mikel Arteta’s side, City were able to restore parity in the enthralling clash after Granit Xhaka felled Bernardo Silva.
With 53 minutes on the clock, Silva fell to the ground after coming under pressure, and VAR official Jarred Gillet advised Attwell to review his decision of no penalty.
Riyad Mahrez stroked home from 12 yards, and Rodri capped off a miserable afternoon for the home team after pouncing on a loose ball in dramatic fashion.
To little surprise, Arsenal fans on social media quickly shared their disgust, with particular grievance directed at the coming-together involving Odegaard.
Despite contact being made between the two, the referee and VAR did not give a spot-kick
One user said: ‘Odegaard’s foot is literally between Ederson and the ball, he kicks the ball through Ode’s legs and it isn’t a penalty. Well done referees and VAR.’
‘Ederson has got away with murder taking players out in the box in recent weeks,’ another wrote. ‘Shocking from VAR.’
A third posted: ‘That was a pen. The direction of the ball changed because Odegaard got a touch before Ederson got there.’
‘Show me where Ederson touches the ball?’ another argued. ‘Agenda against @Arsenal. Robbed. Proud of every single Arsenal player.’
