David Alaba celebrated Real Madrid’s winning goal against PSG in bizarre, yet hilarious, fashion after he hoisted a white chair high above his head during the wild scenes at the Bernabeu.
Karim Benzema sparked scenes of pandemonium after netting his third goal in the space of 17 minutes, turning the Champions League last-16 tie completely on its head after Kylian Mbappe had put PSG 2-0 up on aggregate at half-time.
But as Benzema and the Real Madrid players passionately celebrated with the Bernabeu crowd, Alaba could be seen raising aloft a plastic chair before chucking it to the ground.

The bizarre moment was caught be television cameras which only endeared him further to the Real faithful.
Alaba even posted a picture of the moment on his social media pages after the game, with the caption: ‘Don’t you sit in our chair!’
Fans on social media lapped up the Austrian’s celebration with one comparing it to a WWE match made famous for using steel chairs as weapons.

The said: ‘My man was playing WWE TLC [tables, ladders and chairs] match.’
Another added: ‘Ngl this my new fav celebration.’
And the frantic celebrations carried on into the Real dressing room after the final whistle, which saw Luka Modric embrace each and every team-mate and member of staff.

As seen on Real’s official YouTube channel, Modric makes his way back up the tunnel before hugging each and every player in his vicinity while jumping on team-mates’ backs, overjoyed at the result.
Making his way around the packed changing room, Modric embraces Benzema, Isco and Eduardo Camavinga, before grabbing Vinicius Junior and Toni Kroos for hugs.
The 36-year-old not only showed he’s full of life on the pitch but displayed he’s full of beans off it as he was filmed jumping on railings to perform a mini-handstand.

Just before the video ends, Modric is swamped by Carlo Ancelotti’s backroom staff who passionately celebrate with the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner.
And Ancelotti reserved special praise for Benzema and Modric following their emphatic win on Wednesday.
‘Modric and Benzema are getting better and better every day,’ Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti told reporters in his post-match press conference. ‘Luka is always a top player, wherever he plays, left or right. He’s so important.’
