Derby County are in advanced talks to land the promising young Sheffield United striker William Osula on loan.
Osula, 19, has made five substitute appearances for the Blades and they believe regular football in League One will be the important next stage in his development.
Osula made his debut for United in the final stages of their 0-0 draw against Blackpool in March, less than a month after receiving his first cap for Denmark under-19s.

He has not got any minutes on the pitch for Paul Heckingbottom’s side this term, though, and the Championship leaders have a healthy group of strikers to call upon which includes Oli McBurnie, Rhian Brewster and the vastly experienced Billy Sharp.
With this in mind, he looks set to drop down a division for the meantime to join the Rams.
Derby are currently sitting in the play-off places after picking up 11 points from their first six games in the third tier.
However, goals have been hard to come by at Pride Park as Derby have netted just five goals so far – only four teams have scored fewer in the division.
The arrival of Osula could change their fortunes in front of goal, if they can reach an agreement with United to let him leave Bramall Lane.
