The Brazil international has made 52 appearances for Everton so far but his form this season has been rather underwhelming.

Everton have struggled for consistency this season and are just one place above the relegation zone. It is clearly pivotal for Lampard’s side to remain in the top flight with regards to his transfer plans.

Although Allan has one year remaining on his contract, he is one of several players who could end up leaving Goodison Park.

The 31-year-old has played under three permanent managers during his time at Everton (Ancelotti, Rafa Benitez and Lampard), which hasn’t helped with regards to momentum and performances.

It is possible that Lampard could look to bring in Donny van de Beek on a permanent basis, with the midfielder currently on loan from Manchester United.

Everton face West Ham away on Sunday, with Lampard eager for his team to return to winning ways following their 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace prior to the international break.
