Fans have poked fun at Kylian Mbappe for ‘checking out his new house’ after a video emerged of the striker looking around the Bernabeu before PSG’s Champions League fixture with Real Madrid.

Mbappe’s current contract in France is due to expire at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to Real Madrid after previously stating his desire to leave the Ligue 1 side.

Mbappe has since been filmed out on the pitch at the Bernabeu starring into the stands ahead of the second leg of PSG’s last 16 tie with Real Madrid this evening.

Fans flocked to social media to caption the video of Mbappe strolling around the pitch. One supporter wrote: ‘This is where I’ll be playing next year? Wow’.

One fan said: ‘You always check the new house before moving in’. Before another added: ‘The place he’ll soon call home’.

Mbappe’s current contract in France is due to expire at the end of the season and he had been linked with a move to Real Madrid.

Real Madrid – who are top of the LaLig table and eight points clear of second-place Sevilla – are long standing admirers of Mbappe.

Carlo Ancelotti has overseen a good rebuilding job at the Bernabeu this season but he believes Mbappe is the final piece to the puzzle.

Mbappe has not yet confirmed whether he will be moving to the Spanish side but it is said to be a possibility as PSG’s sporting director previously revealed the striker’s desire to leave the club.

Nevertheless, PSG fans will be delighted to see their star striker walking around the Bernabeu with ease after picking up a knock during training with the Ligue 1 giants earlier in the week.

Idrissa Gueye made contact with Mbappe’s foot after mistiming his tackle. The striker immediately dropped to the ground in agony.

His reaction to the incident caused concern over whether he would be fit enough to play in the second leg of their Champions League tie with Real Madrid.

However, the preliminary scans on Mbappe’s foot ruled out anything serious – including any breaks or fractures.

Although, that didn’t stop Mauricio Pochettino from sweating over the 23-year-old’s fitness as he scored a dramatic stoppage-time winner during the first leg of the last 16 tie.

His goal at the Parc des Princes on February 15 came just moments after Lionel Messi saw his 62nd-minute penalty saved by Thibaut Courtois.

Mbappe linked up beautifully with Neymar before bypassing several defenders with his quick feet to go one on one with Courtois.

The French international then kept his cool and slotted the ball through Courtois’ legs from a tight angle to secure PSG a 1-0 victory.

Mbappe will be looking to add to his Champions League tally this evening when PSG take on Real Madrid in the second leg of their last-16 tie.
