Angry Manchester City fans have slammed ‘City reject’ Stefan Savic for his part in the disgraceful scenes during the goalless draw between his former club and Atletico Madrid.
Atletico and City drew 0-0 at the Wanda Metropolitano on Wednesday night, meaning Savic and Atletico have been knocked out of the Champions League 1-0 on aggregate after losing last week’s first leg at the Etihad.
The second leg tie was however overshadowed by Savic’s behaviour as he seemed to be at the forefront of every incident during the heated clash.

Savic followed Jack Grealish inside the tunnel and attacked the substitute after the full-time whistle.
The centre-back also dragged forward Phil Foden back onto the pitch before appearing to headbutt Raheem Sterling after his team-mate Felipe saw red after his tackle on Foden which sparked a melee in one corner of the pitch.
Savic and Grealish had exchanged words during that brawl – the former pulling the England international’s hair – but the hostility escalated in the tunnel.

City fans were quick to criticise their former player on social media for his antics during the clash – despite most probably almost forgetting his stint in Manchester.
The 31-year-old defender joined City in July 2011 for £6million, but his spell in the Premier League was short lived as he failed to impress before leaving for Fiorentina the following summer.
The centre-back made just 12 appearances and found the net once in a 4-0 win over Blackburn Rovers – although he did finish the season with a Premier League winners’ medal.

One fan said: ‘Someone please punch this City reject called Savic.
A second stated: ‘Good morning to everyone except City reject Stefan Savic who is in dire need of a head wobble.
A third added: ‘Enjoy the semi-final Savic you idiot.’

Another fan expressed their strong thoughts on Savic’s actions and his ‘failed’ Man City career
Plenty more City joined in to slaughter the centre-back on social media by labelling him a ‘moron’ while some want further action to be taken against Savic – one fan even insisting City take away his Premier League 2011-12 winners medal away.
One said: ‘To think we were paying Savic’s wages at one point. What a moron.
Another added: ‘What a f**king moron Stefan Savic was tonight. To think he’s even more terrible than his failed city career.
An angry fan even insisted: ‘The club need to punish Savic, wipe him from City’s record books and actually take his title medal off him.
One fan was in agreement of punishment for Savic, by saying: ‘Hopefully there’s a retroactive ban for him, he should be ashamed of his actions this evening.’
