Jorge Masvidal has hit out at ‘little f***ing broomstick’ Nate Diaz and says he will break the Stockton fighter’s face if they meet for a rematch.
Masvidal is preparing to take on Colby Covington in the headline act of UFC 272 but is open to fighting Diaz again, having beating him for the BMF belt back in 2019.
That contest was stopped due to cuts sustained by the beaten man and Masvidal told a live Q&A: ‘That motherf****er doesn’t want it, man.

Diaz had to be forced out of the contest by doctor after sustaining two deep cuts
‘I almost damn near killed him, I beat him an inch within his f****ing skinny life. You saw his last fight with Leon.
‘I was like, man, they make that mistake and put this guy in there with me again, you know? He’s not trying to fight.’
He went on: ‘That little f***ing broomstick keeps talking. You’re going to have to go at some point, you know.
‘[When] I take Colby [Covington]’s ass out, if I gotta wait for Usman, it could be you that gets this ass whooping, bro… Let’s f****ing go, man, I’m gonna break your f***ing face, bro.
Diaz has only one fight remaining on his current UFC deal and it could be against Masvidal
‘It’s not a call out. After handling business, I’m going for the title, and if I don’t have time to go for the title, I’m gonna break your f*cking face for all the sh** talking you’ve done.’
Masvidal has lost twice to Kamaru Usman since beating Diaz and wants a third crack at the champion if he beats fierce rival Covington.
The pair used to be training partners before an acrimonious split with ‘Chaos’ leaving the gym.
Diaz has just one fight left on his UFC contract and was thought to be close to agreeing a deal to fight Dustin Poirier.
No announcement has been made and it remains to be seen how the organisation will match him in what could be his curtain call.
Masvidal says Diaz needs to stop talking and doubts his old rival will accept a rematch
