Kate and William's royal 'strategy' for future of monarchy exposed 'Spotlight on them'

The Duchess of Cambridge, 39, has been coordinating her outfits with Prince William in recent months. Us Weekly royal correspondent Christine Ross there has been “some consultation” between to the royal couple. Speaking on the Royally Us podcast, Ms Ross said: “I loved seeing them coordinating their outfits a couple of times.

“That was really interesting to see William stepping up his fashion game. You could tell there was some consultation going on.”

Eloise Moran, the author of Lady Di lookbook, added: “It’s definitely a strategy on their part but I don’t mind it.

“I think they are kind of the two members of the Royal Family who don’t have any crazy scandals.

“They’re really likeable, they are relatable.

“I’ve definitely felt the spotlight on them this year.

“I think the emphasis is definitely based on William and Kate.”

Ms Moran added: “I think with everything that’s been happening in the Royal Family this year, they haven’t had the best year in terms of scandal after scandal.

“The Meghan and Harry interview, I think that was a giant bomb and I think it woke up the Royal Family.

The Duchess was deeply “upset” after being dragged into Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Duchess of Sussex told Oprah Winfrey that Kate made her cry ahead of her wedding after stories suggested that it was Meghan Markle who had made Kate cry.

Royal expert Neil Sean has claimed Kate turned to her brother during the time.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Mr Sean said: “There was one person she could really turn to, confide in and be assured that it would go no further. He’s become her rock, her brother James Middleton.”
