On Christmas Eve, the Duchess of Cambridge, 39, put on an impressive musical display as she played the piano alongside singer Tom Walker at the ‘Royal Carols: Together at Christmas’ concert. After her performance, many royal watchers have been questioning whether the Duchess has other musical talents to display.
As a result, a video from her childhood where Kate shows off her singing voice is being recirculated on social media.
An unearthed clip shows the future Queen consort aged eleven, during a school performance of the musical My Fair Lady.
11-year-old Kate dons a shawl for the performance at St Andrew’s School in Pangbourne and puts on a cockney accent.
The Duchess is portraying the character of Eliza Dolittle, a cockney flower seller who agrees to elocution lessons from Professor Henry Higgins.
In the footage dating from 1993, Kate belts out ‘Wouldn’t it be Loverly’ while carrying a flower basket.
She wears her hair pinned back and is surrounded by fellow students as she sings.
Her love interest in the production, Freddy Eynsford-Hill was portrayed by Andrew Alexander, who is now a star of Downton Abbey.
Mr Alexander, who portrays the character of Sir John Bullock in the drama, once recalled his experience performing alongside the royal.

Gary Wiley simply commented: “I’m impressed”.
While Alexandra Sard added: “And beautiful even then!”
A fourth, Pamela Anders, dubbed the performance “very sweet”.
While on an Instagram post of the video, shared on a royal fan page, user glencorajane wrote: “She is born to face the public!”
A second user, dianaekalubis, added: “omg, her voice so sweet” along with a red heart emoji.
Mrsdgreene2011 was equally impressed by Kate’s performance, writing: “Is there anything that she’s not good at?”
While angelinabeatrice seemed to echo their thoughts writing: “She’s smart, athletic, talented, beautiful and most importantly, she’s kind. Is there anything she can’t do?”
In addition, hlm89 wrote: “Omg this is incredible! I had no idea she could sing! A woman with so many talents!”
