Fortunately the situation was diffused quickly and it seemed as though Chimaev accepted he could not go further, allowing himself to be pulled away.
The mini-scuffle was short-lived and it seemed as though the Cechen-born Swede was agitated by the referee stopping the fight prematurely.
The footage suggested the official was in the right and Chimaev’s team-mate was struggling to defend himself and looked dazed before sinking to his haunches when the fight was waved off.

Chimaev is still waiting for his next fight to be announced and many believe he will be the man to eventually topple pound-for-pound king Kamaru Usman.

Chimaev and Gilbert Burns recently agreed to lock horns and their messages were shared by the Swedish grappling sensation.
Time will tell whether they can reach terms with the UFC over what could prove to be a title eliminator.
