Liverpool ‘continue to assess Jarrod Bowen and Raphinha’ as potential summer signings as Jurgen Klopp plans Anfield shake-up

Liverpool are reportedly pressing ahead with their monitoring of West Ham star Jarrod Bowen and Leeds United ace Raphinha.
Both players have been enjoying electric Premier League campaigns for their respective clubs, and have each been strongly linked with a move to Anfield as a result.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are known to be on the hunt for reinforcements in the forward areas, given that the prolific trident of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane are each entering the final 18 months of their contracts.

The Reds are also faced with the prospect of losing both Salah and Mane on a temporary basis as each Africa Cup of Nations tournaments comes around, as will soon be the case in January.
Now, according to the Liverpool Echo, the Merseyside giants are very much in the process of weighing up their options ahead of potential transfer activity.
It is reported that West Ham forward Bowen ‘continues to be a player of interest among those who matter at Anfield, while Leeds’ Raphinha is another who is being assessed.’

It is added that both players are almost certain to be staying put for the remainder of the season.
Any possible moves to Anfield therefore would occur in the summer transfer window, once the current campaign is done.
Should Liverpool may their reported interest in Raphinha concrete however, a bidding war with German giants Bayern Munich is likely to unfold.
The Bavarians have been linked with a £50million move for the Brazilian, who has previously expressed a desire to test himself at the highest level.

Raphinha has recently broken into the senior Brazil national side, yet maintains his happiness at Elland Road under Marcelo Bielsa.
When asked if he felt he could achieve his goals at his current club, Raphinha told BBC Radio Leeds: ‘Without a doubt.
‘When you bring together players with a real, strong, winning desire together with the manager, the coaching staff, fans who love the club, you create a wonderful atmosphere in the stadium and at the training ground.’
