London Horror: 20-year-old man taken to hospital following knife attack

The incident took place on Sunday night on Boleyn Road, N16, London. Met police has imposed a Section 60 covering the borough of Hackney.

While Section 60 is in place, the police have the ability to stop and search anyone in a certain area.

The power differs from a normal stop and searches as it does not require the force to have ‘reasonable grounds’ when making a stop.

Sharing details about the incident, Met police said that no arrests have been made yet.

In a tweet, Hackney police said: “We’re investigating a stabbing at 7.30 pm on 27 Dec in Boleyn Rd, N16.

“A man in his 20s was taken to hospital; we await condition update.

“No arrest yet. Anyone with info pls call 101 ref 5091/27dec or contact Crimestoppers.
