Manchester United collapse at the start of a second half AGAIN as they throw away a two goal lead in crazy 24 second period with Rodrigo and Raphinha scoring for Leeds

Manchester United collapsed in the second half once again as they threw a two goal lead away in just 24 seconds against Leeds.
Ralf Rangnick’s side have recently dropped points from conceding early second half goals in 1-1 draws against Burnley and Southampton.
United took a 4-2 victory against Leeds though they nearly dropped points from a winning position again – despite having a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes.

Manchester United threw away a comfortable 2-0 lead in a shocking period at Elland Road
Leeds got one back in the 53rd minute when Rodrigo Moreno raced down the left flank and tried to whip in a cross only for it to catch David de Gea off guard and find the back of the net.
United barely had a moment to recover as Leeds pushed up field and Adam Forshaw won the ball off Bruno Fernandes.
Forshaw found Dan James who drilled in a low cross for Raphina to tuck away at the far post – 24 seconds after kick-off.

VAR initially checked the goal for Forshaw’s challenge on Fernandes but judged that he won the ball and the goal stood to the dismay of the United players.
Rangnick and United’s players were left stunned at what just happened and there was visible frustration afterwards – with Cristiano Ronaldo booked for his protests.
United made a couple of changes to solve the situation with Anthony Elanga and Fred replacing Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

Unlike the games against Burnley and Southampton, United retook the lead thanks to a 70th minute goal by Fred.
Anthony Elanga then added a fourth for United in the 88th minute to seal the three points.
Fans though weren’t happy with the way United folded at the start of the second-half.
Scott Patterson tweeted: ’24 seconds. You absolute clowns,’ while another Manchester United fan tweeted: ‘2 goals conceded in 24 seconds, are you mad????
