Sky Sports have reported that they are interested in Norwich player Cantwell.
The 23-year-old’s contract expires in the summer but the Canaries do have the option to extend for a further year.
However, he is struggling for game-time at Carrow Road, having made just two starts since Dean Smith was appointed manager.

It is said that Newcastle would have to pay a sum in the region of around £15 to 20 million for Norwich to consider selling.
The report states that another unnamed Premier League side are also interested in Cantwell.
Cantwell has made eight appearances for Norwich this season but has failed to register a goal or provide an assist.
If the move were to take place it would see them sell the player to one of their direct rivals in the fight to stay in the league.
Newcastle are one point ahead of Norwich in the table with the pair occupying the bottom two places in the standings.
