Christin could not believe her luck when she received a letter marked with the Buckingham Palace stamp and The Royal Cypher. The teacher had previously written to Camilla to wish her a happy 75th birthday in July and was delighted to receive a response on Tuesday. The letter simply read: “Thank you for your birthday message. I can’t quite believe that I’ve reached three-quarters of a century!”
It was then signed off by Camilla herself.
Christin shared her excitement on Twitter, writing: “My first ever ‘royal double’ reply from the Duchess of Cornwall.”
Christin received two cards from the Duchess, both with the same message and featuring an image of Camilla on the front.
The superfan regularly writes to Camilla, as she told Express.co.uk: “I try to write HRH regularly for her birthday and Christmas.
“Often I am including personal words and sharing my appreciation for her work.
“As a teacher, I admire her reading room project on Instagram, which tries to connect children and people with books.
“As a woman I support her work for victims of domestic violence, giving those a voice who should be heard.”
Christin has received letters from Camilla before, but could not contain her excitement at her first ever “royal double”.

She added: “Normally it’s just the regular picture card, which is always great. But sometimes the Duchess takes the time to include a little personal note, which makes it even more special. It’s exactly the same card. I think it was just a mistake that they sent out both.”
Camilla celebrated her 75th birthday in July, with fans flocking to send their well wishes.
The Duchess of Cornwall released a new photo alongside a thank you message to all those who took the time to spare a thought for her on her milestone birthday.
A brief statement published via Camilla and Prince Charles’s Twitter account, Clarence House, read: “Thank you for all your kind messages and well wishes on The Duchess of Cornwall’s 75th birthday today!”

While this photo is very similar to the portrait released on Saturday night by Clarence House to mark the Duchess’ birthday, this picture shows Camilla holding one of her beloved dogs on her lap.
Camilla celebrated her birthday on July 17 with friends and family.
Speaking to British Vogue ahead of her birthday, the Duchess said: “I let them come and go. I mean I’d be very happy to turn back the clock. When you get to any big number, whether it’s 30, 50, 70, you think: ‘God, that’s so old.’”
