Sir Keir demanded the Prime Minister step down after he admitted attending a garden party on May 20, 2020. However, pictures emerged of the Labour leader drinking with colleagues ahead of the local elections last May, which sparked fury among Britons. Commenting on the Express.co.uk story, one user defended Mr Johnson, claiming he delivered the biggest vote the country has seen in decades.

The user, named WidowSon, said: “Boris had a few drinks at work, but he didn’t spend four years trying to overturn the biggest vote this country has seen in decades.

“The man should have been barred from serving in any political capacity for life.

“‘We are the party of remain’ – Sir Kneel A lot.”

Another user called Freddy Boy added: “I’m sure that if the Conservatives had a dirt-digger similar to the foul mouth Rayner, they would find plenty of Indiscretions in many of the opposition’s private lives.

“Trouble is, they’re too busy trying to run the country.”

Kentish man said: “Not surprised at this only a matter of time before more comes out.

“There are no bigger hypocrites than the Labour party.”

A fourth user called NoSSherlock said: “Well Starmer has learnt a valuable lesson – those in glass houses should not throw stones.
