Tesco, Sainsbury’s and Asda recall popular Christmas product – 'Unsafe to eat’

The Food Standards Agency advice to customers is: “If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to mustard and/or a sensitivity to sulphur dioxide and/or sulphites, do not eat it.

“Instead return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.”

While picked walnuts are considered a suitable accompaniment for cheeses, many people have them with cold turkey or ham.

Thus anyone having bought them for Christmas should check the product’s packaging.
