On Sunday Andrew Adonis, chair of Euro Move, posted a photograph of the Eiffel Tower lit up with the colours of the European Union flag. Mr Adonis wrote beside the tweet: “Europe.” This caused former Conservative MP Edwina Currie to reply to his tweet saying: “We are in Europe.
“We’re just not members of the European Union. Get it yet?”
The comment by Mrs Currie caused a Twitter user called Pazkhorana to respond.
They said: “Happy new year Edwina Currie! “Solid translation of facts here.
“Just out of interest, did you vote for Brexit or were you remain and have subsequently trying to make the best of it?”
To this comment, the former Conservative MP gave her response and said: “I campaigned for Remain.

“The advisory referendum was subverted by cheating and fraud.
“The courts said it would have been annulled if it were not just advisory.
“Scotland and NI voted to remain but still were forced out against the will of their people.
“Democratic it was not.”
The former Junior Health Minister in John Major’s Government stated today on LBC that “freedom” was the clear benefit of Brexit.
She said that Brexit gave the UK the freedom to give “two fingers to Brussels”.
She added: “It’s fabulous.”
